Dr. Gitu Bhatia is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families. She was a staff psychologist at the Child and Family Guidance Center and trained at the Child and Family Development Center at St. John's Hospital.

Dr. Bhatia is also an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate School of Education and Psychology, Pepperdine University. She enjoys teaching and has conducted trainings for therapists, teachers, and parents on subjects related to human development.

Dr. Bhatia is on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association. As a Co-chair of LACPA's Diversity Committee, she is passionately involved in promoting cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Dr. Bhatia has been actively involved in, and was on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association. She has been trained as a Divorce Coach and Child Specialist. Dr. Bhatia worked as a family mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court from 1985-1996 and brings with her the experience and knowledge of what is in the best interest of children and families as they go through the process of separation and divorce.
